in 1956 the craftsmen of bolex swiss factory redesigned the viewfinder system of h- cameras and created a new concept in our camera design. bolex h-16 reflex (later called rex) featured flickerless through-the-lens parallax free viewing and focusing which was the first major change in the timeless bolex design. the principle of the revolutionary new reflex system is shown above and the illustrations with the descriptions of added features will assist you in identification of the preceding models.
