Training: While the majority of my "training" work involves teaching individual users in their home on how to use their new computer; and how to get the most from their programs, the Internet, and their own abilities, I am available for training 'groups' as well. I have provided training for groups as large as 120 individuals. Please note: If you have reformatted your Hard Drive, or caused some catastrophic damage such as dropping (or throwing) your computer out of a window - data recovery may not be possible.Long and short term contracts are available, prices start at under $50 (see the rates and hours page for current prices.). Contracts that extend to or exceed 40 hours can often be negotiated to lower rates depending upon the type of work required and availability. Please allow 1 - 2 week(s) scheduling time for long term contracts.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless previous arrangements have been made. There is a $35.00 fee on all NSF checks, and at 10% per month fee on all outstanding balances unless previous arrangements have been made.

The following prices are only rough estimates for a few graphics and interactive links. More advanced design such as frames, sound, java, Flash, and other visual effects will naturally increase the value and the cost of the site. Framed Pages: $65.00 for frame, menu and content. Additional $15.00 for each additional page and or frame. (sample)

Flash: $100 This is just an estimate. Depending upon how complex you want your "Flash / Shockwave" page to be. In general, to create a simple flash introduction page with an interactive menu to 3 or 4 sections or pages to your site ... the cost will run between $75 and $100 for the scenes. Page and Site Optimization: Prices can vary greatly for this depending on the size and complexity of the page or site. An average cost is $35.00 - $50.00 for fairly simple pages. I can provide SEO / SEM site optimazition and management for very reasonable costs. Target the demographics in your marketing area, and help promote your site and services. There's more to marketing a web site than just creating the page.
Keyword generation and description: $10 per page (this is used by search engines such as yahoo, excite, etc. to help people find you on the web)
Search Engine Submissions: $25.00 per page. (your site submitted to over 30 search engines) Submission to as many as 2000 search engines $45.
Personalized Hosting: $25.00 per year (web-friend.com/yoursite)
Membership Listing: * FREE * with any other web-friend, or computer related service. (a link to YOUR site listed at web-friend)
Business Listings: Price fluctuate greatly, so if you wish to be listed in the Internet Yellow Pages, GTE Superpages, or another "business" publication, please contact us directly for current prices.
Shopping Cart and Internet Accounting: Prices vary greatly for this service on a monthly basis. Set-up $35
Personal page design ~ I also create personal "Home Pages" for people. Call for estimate.Sites under 100 Kb can be hosted for as little as $25.00 per year; however - if you require monthly maintenance and changes, or your site requires more than 100 Kb of space then cost, then costs can be negotiated.Domain Registration and site setup:Those who wish to have their own site set up on a server where they may have full access to the files and the ability to upload or change the site in any way may do so. I generally charge a one time fee of $75.00 for the site set-up. (see below for information on setting up your own domain registration). Please note: you must provide a valid e-mail address for this service.
Small Business, and you want your own "Internet Presence" .... www.yourname.com .... Let web-friend help you get established, registered, and up and running; starting as low as $300.00 (includes 1 - 5 pages created and installed). Monthly costs would depend on the server being used, and the maintenance involved. Some servers will allow you to post up to 5 or 10 Meg of pages on their site, although they will post their own advertisements on your page. For a server with no adds? ... prices can range anywhere from $15 per month to thousands of dollars per month.Scanning and Graphic Design:For home / office services, feel free to call for estimates. If you have pictures or images you would like scanned and used for a web site, please contact me. Generally the cost is $5.00 per 8 X 11 image. All materials will only be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.Also, if you are interested in an original graphic design such as a 3D or interactive graphic, please call to discuss pricing.
